The faculty

After 12 years of teaching and making music together, our much appreciated colleague and friend Prof. Markus Nyikos has decided not to teach in Leutkirch anymore after 2018. It was a great time with him. Since 2019, Prof. Jan Ickert is now teaching the cellists. We are very happy to have him in our team.

From the very beginning, Prof. Christoph Schickedanz (violin / Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg) and Prof. Roland Glassl (viola / Hochschule für Musik und Theater München) have been teaching at the Summer Academy.

The Volkshochschule Leutkirch has been our partner in organizing the master classes since 2004. The city of Leutkirch supports the Summer Academy by providing rooms for lessons, correpetition and as extra rooms. Many thanks for this.
